Eye Care for All – an REC initiative – completed 8000 cataract surgeries
The management, doctors & staff of the Hospital is extremely thankful to REC Limited for sponsoring 8000 cataract surgeries using phacoemulsification technique with hydrophobic intra ocular lens implant.
We are happy to announce that we started on 17th February 2025 and completed 8000 cataract surgeries on 14th March 2026 under the Project Eye Care for All – an REC initiative.
The 8000th beneficiary is Sri M Ramasamy, aged 76, brought from our outreach camp conducted at Thirukazhukundram, Chengalpattu district.
