Dr S Saranya has completed her MBBS from Karyakumar Govt. Medical College, Asaripallam.  She was silver medalist in Ophthalmology during her undergraduation in 2010.  She completed her post graduation in our institute under National Board of Examination in 2016.  She finished her Cornea Fellowship programme under Dr Srinivas K Rao in 2019. She also completed her training for dispensing specialized Contact Lenses like Rose K, Corneascleral, Miniscleral Lens in 2019. She also completed her Fellowship in International Council of Ophthalmology examinations in the year 2020.

She finished her training for DSEK & DMEK in 2021 under Dr Rajesh Fogla in Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad and joined in Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal in the department of Cornea & Refractive Surgeries.   Her keen interest is on lamellar sutureless keratoplasties and dispensing specialized contact lens for visual rehabilitation.
