Dr Archana Devi, an MBBS graduate from Kilpauk Medical College (2004-2010), pursued her ophthalmic education, Diploma in Ophthalmology (2014-2016) from Madras Medical College (Regional Institute of Ophthalmology and Government Hospital, Chennai) followed by Diplomate in National Board (2017-2019) at Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal.  She underwent her exclusive training here as a fellow in the Diseases and Surgery of the Retina and Vitreous under the able guidance of Dr Surendranatha Reddy and Dr Shaun Maria Dacosta (2019-2021).  She subsequently continued to render her Ophthalmic services here at Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal as consultant in Vitreo-Retina Department.  She had also passed the basic and clinical exam conducted by International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO).  She exclusively handles the surgical retina cases in our Hospital inclusive of retinal laser treatments, Intravitreal injections, sclera fixated IOLs and retinal surgeries.
