Pammal Sankara Eye Hospital, in association with the District Blindness Control Society (DBCS), Chennai, jointly organised the 41st National Eye Donation Fortnight Awareness Rally on 05 September 2026. The Rally was flagged off by Smt Sowmiya Anbumani, MLA. About 200 students and members of the public participated in the rally.
The programme was conducted to create awareness about the importance of eye donation and encourage people to come forward and pledge their eyes for donation.
The initiative aims to spread awareness about the importance of helping others through blood and eye donation and to encourage greater public participation in these life-changing causes.
